Instructions
- Begin with properly fired shelf cone 06 bisque. Moisten a clean sponge and wipe bisque to remove any dust.
- Slightly thin some FN-301 Marshmallow White and roll the inside of the vase. Remove any drips from the outside with the BT-910 Synthetic Sponge.
- Using the CB-604 #4 Soft Fan, apply 3 smooth coats of FN-301 Marshmallow White to the outside of the vase. Allow to dry.
- Using the AC-230 Clay Carbon, trace on the pattern.
- For the flowers and leaves, mix each Stroke & Coat color 50/50 with SG-302 Snowfall, using a palette knife.
- Using the CB-404 #4 Pointed Round, apply 1 generous coat of the SC-6 Sunkissed mixture to the back petals of each flower, allowing the color to build up. Apply the SC-24 Dandelion mixture to the trumpet area.
- Using the CB-106 #6 Script Liner, apply 1 generous coat of the SC-26 Green Thumb mixture to the leaves, and the SC-36 Irish Luck mixture to the stems.
- Using the CB-404 #4 Pointed Round, apply 1 generous coat of the SC-41 Brown Cow mixture to the paper areas on the flowers (where the flower stem meets the blossom).
- Using the CB-404 #4 Pointed Round, side load in SC-6 Sunkissed and shade the edges of the petals and inside the cup areas.
- Using the CB-404 #4 Pointed Round, side load in SC-26 Green Thumb and shade the edges of the leaves.
- Using the CB-404 #4 Pointed Round, apply 1 very thin coat of SC-41 Brown Cow to the bee wings.
- Using the CB-404 #4 Pointed Round, apply 1 coat of SC-6 Sunkissed to the bee's body.
- Using the CB-210 #10/0 Detail Liner loaded in SC-15 Tuxedo, outline and detail the entire design. Allow to dry.
- Stilt and fire to shelf cone 06.
