Instructions

Begin with properly fired cone 04 stoneware bisque. Moisten a sponge and wipe bisque to remove any dust.

Apply 2 coats of S-2701 Peacock Eyes around the top ¼ of the piece.

Apply 3 coats of SW-184 Speckled Toad to the rest of the piece; overlapping the Peacock Eyes by about ½”. Recede each coat from the bottom of the bowl by about ¼” per coat.

Use a damp sponge to wipe away any glaze that may have gotten on the foot.

Fire to cone 5/6. Sample piece was fired to cone 6
