Instructions

  1. Begin with properly fired shelf cone 04 bisque. Moisten a clean sponge and wipe bisque to remove any dust.

  2. Using CB-604 #4 Soft Fan, apply 2 coats of FN-001 White on the top of the plate.

  3. Using a palette knife, thicken SC-28 Blue Isle with AC-310 Silkscreen Medium to the consistency of peanut butter.

  4. Using the larger flowers from DSS-0112 Floral and the lady bug from DSS-0113 Bugs, screen the flowers and lady bug. Rub the thickened SC-28 Blue Isle mixture through the screen onto MB-882 Rectangle Plate. Repeat process until the surface is covered.
    • Note: It may be necessary to clean the screen in between screening multiple images to keep crisp, accurate images. Review the Silkscreen Instructions for further instructions.

  5. Tint S-2101 Crystal Clear with red food coloring. Using a palette knife, thicken the red tinted S-2101 Crystal Clear with AC-310 Silkscreen Medium to the consistency of peanut butter.

  6. Using the rabbit from DSS-0101 Woodland Animals, rub the thickened, tinted S-2101 Crystal Clear over the screen with your finger.
    • Note: This process will act as a mask when coloring the rabbit.

  7. Using the flowers from DSS-0112 Floral (grain-side up), rub the thickened, tinted S-2101 Crystal Clear over the screen with your finger. Repeat for flowers #1, #2, #3, and #4. 10. Using CB-106 #6 Script Liner, apply 2 coats of SC-97 Cant-elope to the center of the flowers #4 and #5. Allow glaze to lose its shine between coats.

  11. Using CB-106 #6 Script Liner, apply 2 coats of SC-24 Dandelion to color the remainder of the flowers #4 and #5, except the leaves and stems. Allow glaze to lose its shine between coats.
