Project Info


  1. Begin with properly fired shelf cone 04 bisque. Moisten a clean sponge and wipe bisque to remove any dust.
  2. Using a CB-604 #4 Soft Fan, apply 2 coats of FN-001 White to entire piece.  Allow to dry.
  3. Cut out the pattern.
  4. Wet the back of the paper and place onto the middle of the ware over the glaze. Make sure the paper is completely secured to the glaze surface.  Place some of the Self-Adhesive Binder Hole protectors to the background area while evenly spacing them.
  5. Using a CB-604 #4 Soft Fan to apply 2-3 coats of SC-11 Blue Yonder over the entire piece.   Before the last coat of color has completely dried remove the pattern and hole stickers.
  6. Pencil in or trace the features on the bunny.
  7. Using a CB-404 #4 Pointed Round, apply SC-70 Pink-A-Dot shading to the ears.
  8. Use the end of a brush to dot in the eyes with SC-11 Blue Yonder. Paint in the nose with SC-70 Pink-A-Dot.
  9. Using a CB-110 #10/0 Line, apply SC-7 Leapin’ Lizard  to the mouth.
  10. Using a CB-110 #10/0 Liner, apply SC-50 Orange Ya Happy to detail the outline of the bunny and the shading in the ears.  Keep the line uneven and vary the width and length of the line around these areas.
  11. Using a CB-604 #4 Sot Fan, apply 1 coat of CG-964 Kaleidoscope to the lower portion of the bunny feathering the crystals out toward the head.   Apply a light coat of glaze with crystals to the base of the ears feathering them out to the ends of the ears.
  12. Using a CB-404 #4 Pointed Round, apply 1 coat of the following Stroke & Coats to the white circles SC-7 Leapin’ Lizard, SC-24 Dandelion,  SC-50 Orange Ya Happy, and SC-53 Purple Haze.
  13. Stilt and fire the piece to shelf cone 05/06.
