Instructions

1. Begin with properly fired shelf cone 04 bisque. Moisten a clean sponge and wipe bisque to remove any dust.
2. Brush the top of the Spot on Pocket with two coats of SC-16 Cotton Tail, or FN-001 White, use CB-604 Soft Fan.
3. Cut a 4 1/2 inch circle out of copy paper.  Wet the white glaze to the left side of the bisque, place the paper circle on the bisque as shown in the photo. Press with a paper towel to push the paper into glaze.
4. Brush the remaining section of the bisque with three coats of SC-97 Cant-elope, brush over the edges of the paper.  Use CB-604 Soft Fan.
5. When the glaze is dry to the touch, pat ST-341 Leaves with SC-15 Tuxedo using AC-213 Lg. Sponge on a Stick.  Stamp the entire surface with the leaves.  Remove the paper.
6. Load half of the CB-604 Soft Fan with a thinned SC-6 Sunkissed, float color around the inside of circle shape.
7. Trace on the pattern of the owl and the branch using a pencil and AC-230 Clay Carbon Paper.
8. Punch out two circle shapes from a 1/2 inch punch. Brush SC-6 Sunkissed over the eyes of the owl, place on the punched shapes over the eye space. This will act as a mask and keep the eyes perfect circles.
9. Brush the body of the owl and the tree branch SC-15 Tuxedo, brush SC-71 Purple-licious to the breast of the owl, detail the breast with small lines to indicate feathers. 2-3 coats, use CB-106 Script Liner.
10. Brush the beak and claws with SC-5 Tiger Tail.
11. Brush in the pupil with SC-15 Tuxedo, and the bats on the moon, using CB-110 Liner.
12. Dip in clear, or roll the inside with S-2101 Clear.
13. Stilt and fire to cone 05/06.
