- With a pencil and AC-230 Clay Carbon paper, trace on the flowers at random, allowing them to overlap.
- Go back over the lines with a Watercolor Marker, retracing the actual flower areas that will be painted.
- Using the SG-401 Black Designer Liner, outline all the flowers that were done with the Watercolor Marker.
- Using a CB-106 #6 Script Liner, load in water then side load with one of the following colors and paint the inside edges of the petals with each of the 4 colors, blending where they meet. Colors used are SC-28 Blue Isle, SC-24 Dandelion, SC-71 Purple-licious and SC-78 Lime Light.
- Apply to the flower centers in the same way as in step 5 SC-24 Dandelion and SC-78 Lime Light.
- Using a CB-106 #6 Script Liner, apply to the background areas a thin wash of SC-78 Lime Light.
- Using a CB-604 #4 Soft Fan, apply 3 coats of FN-017 Purple to the back of the platter.
- Using a CB-604 # 4 Soft Fan, apply 2 coats of the S-2101 Crystal Clear Brushing to the front of the platter. Allow to dry.
