Instructions

  1. Begin with properly fired shelf cone 04 bisque.  Moisten a clean sponge and wipe bisque to remove any dust.
  2. Using the AC-213 Sponge on a Stick load the sponge with SC-15 Tuxedo. Tap the SC-15 Tuxedo onto the ST-367 Leafy Border Stamp then press the stamp the pattern a couple of inches from the top of the egg.  It should resemble the treetops of a forest.
  3. Draw in a pencil line for the foreground and the trunks of the trees.
  4. Using a CB106 #6 Script Liner, to shade the background. Float thin layers of color around the leaves, starting with SC-32 Bluebeard, then some SC-31 The Blues. Float SC-31 The Blues and SC-13 Grapel and some SC-89 Cutie Pie Coral into the sky. Layer the colors to get your desired effect.
  5. Apply 1 slightly thinned coat of SC-15 Tuxedo into the first foreground line, and SC-32 Bluebeard into the second foreground area.. Watch the direction of the brush stroke as it will show.
  6. Thin SC-10 Teal Next Time and brush stroke into the leaves, along with SC-36 Irish Luck. Allow to dry.
  7. Use the SG-401 Black Designer Liner to make the tree trunks. Allow to dry.
  8. Using a CB-604 #4 Soft Fan, apply 2 coats of S-2101 Crystal Clear Glaze or apply Clear Glaze of choice.  Allow to dry.
