Instructions
- Begin with properly fired shelf cone 04 bisque. Moisten a clean sponge and wipe bisque to remove any dust.
- Using a CB-604 #4 Soft Fan, apply 3 coats of SC-2 Melon-Choly to the outside of the canvas. Allow to dry.
- With a pencil and AC-230 Clay Carbon Paper, trace pattern onto piece.
- Using a CB-106 #6 Script Liner, apply a heavy coat of SG-501 Sculpting Medium to the white vase, red vase, and the full white flower. Allow to dry.
- Using a CB-106 #6 Script Liner, apply 2 coats of SC-87 Ruby Slippers to the red vase, shade the left side with SC-94 Curry around, and the right side with SC-89 Cutie Pie Coral. Swipe the upper right with some SG-501 Sculpting Medium and some SC-11 Blue Yonder for shading.
- Using a CB-106 #6 Script Liner, apply 2 coats of SC-11 Blue Yonder to the blue vase, darken one side with some SC-29 Blue Grass and lighted the other side with SC-16 Cotton Tail, mixed in the SC-11 Blue Yonder.
- Using a CB-106 #6 Script Liner, shade the white vase with SC-94 Curry Around, leaving the center area of the vase with just the SG-501 Sculpting Medium. The Sculpting Medium will fire a little transparent.
- Using a CB-106 #6 Script Liner, for the SG-501 Sculpting Medium full flower, shade with SC-94 Curry Around. For the partial white flower apply 1-2 coats of SC-16 Cotton Tail, and then shade with SC-94 Curry Around.
- Using a CB-106 #6 Script Liner, apply 2 coats of SC-93 Honeydew List to the green bulbous flower, then shade with SC-43 Lettuce Alone, adding SC-26 Green Thumb to the brush to deepen the shading, and some SC-11 Blue Yonder.
- Using a CB-106 #6 Script Liner, apply 2 coats of SC-74 Hot Tamale to the red flower, shade with SC-94 Curry Around, and some thinned SG-401 Designer Liner.
- Now that everything is painted, use the SG-401 Designer Liner with a CB-110 #10/0 Liner to accent all the shapes with a thin line, apply the stems and centers, thin and float some of the black into the shadows.
- Using a CB-106 #6 Script Liner, shade around the deigns with SC-89 Cutie Pie Coral in a irregular brush stroke, add in some of the SC-94 Curry Around to shade around the red and the white vase. Allow to dry.
- Stilt and fire to shelf cone 05/06.
