Instructions
- Begin with properly fired shelf cone 04 bisque. Moisten a clean sponge and wipe bisque to remove any dust.
- Using a CB-604 #4 Soft Fan, apply 2 coats of UG-50 Jet Black to the front of the tray. Allow to dry.
- With a pencil and AC-230 Clay Carbon Paper trace on the pattern.
- Using a CB-106 #6 Script Liner or the CB-602 #2 Soft Fan, apply 2 coats of the colors as shown on the pattern, follow the direction of the shape, some of the UG- 50 Jet Black will show through. Background - UG-203 Squash Yellow; UG-94 Pansy Purple; UG-21 Leaf Green. Cups - bottom -UG-51 China White; middle - UG-207 Flame Red & UG-204 Orange; top – UG-51 China White, dots – UG-207 Flame Red. Table cover – UG-51 China White & UG-207 Flame Red.
- Using a CB-110 #10/0 Liner, outline with UG-50 Jet Black.
- Using the AC-213 Sponge on a Stick load the sponge with UG-51 China White. Tap the UG-51 China White onto the ST- 343 Deco Circles Stamp then press the stamp gently onto the UG-94 Pansy Purple border. Allow to dry.
- Using a CB-604 #4 Soft Fan, apply 3 coats of UG-50 Jet Black to the back of the tray. Take care not to let the Underglaze collect in the detail. Allow to dry.
- Bisque fire to shelf cone 04.
- Using a CB-604 #4 Soft Fan, apply 2 coats of S-2101 Crystal Clear Brushing to the front and back of the piece. Allow to dry.
- Stilt and fire to shelf cone 06.
