1. Begin with properly fired shelf cone 04 bisque.  Moisten a clean sponge and wipe bisque to remove any dust.
2. All the backgrounds are similar.  Thin SC-30 Blue Dawn, like water, spatter to the plates, and use a flavor injector for optimum spatters. Spatter SC-93 Honeydew List on the white flower background.
3. Lay the various stencils on the surface then roll over with SC-83 Tip Taupe using the 2” mini foam roller, just use sections of the stencil.  Stencil patterns used are a flower and honeycomb.
4. With a pencil and AC-230 Clay Carbon Paper, trace on the designs.
5. White Flower: Using a CB-106 #6 Script Liner, apply 2-3 coats of SC-16 Cotton Tail to the petals,  dab the center with SC-6 Sunkissed and SC-16 Cotton Tail.
6. Stoke in SC-26 Green Thumb to the stem and leaves ant the green back of the second flower.
7. Using a CB-110 #10/0 Liner, lightly outline everything and stroke petals with SC-15 Tuxedo.
8. Thin SC-30 Blue Dawn like water then brush to sections of the background around the white petals for contrast.  Avoid brushstrokes.
9. Orange Flower: Using a CB-106 #6 Script Liner, apply1 coat of SC-94 Curry Around in the petals, on the second coat, load brush with the SC-94 Curry Around then add SC-75 Orange-A-Peel, for some petals, and SC-81 Cinnamon Stix for some, leave some with just SC-94 Curry Around for variation.
10. Center is SC-75 Orange-A-Peel and SC-81 Cinnamon Stix.
11. Leaves and stem is SC-36 Irish Luck, add SC-16 Cotton Tail to the brush for the lighter leaf, and tip the brush with SC-16 Cotton Tail for the large leaf.
12. Using a CB-110 #10/0 Liner, outline and vein flower and leaves with SC-15 Tuxedo.
13. Yellow Flower: Using a CB-106 #6 Script Liner, apply 2 coats of a combo of SC-42 Butter Me Up, adding a little of SC-6 Sunkissed to brighten sections of the petals, and adding SC-16 Cotton Tail to lighten sections of the petals.
14. Apply SC-26 Green Thumb to the leaves for the first coat; tip the SC-26 Green Thumb brush with SC-36 Irish Luck to stroke in the second coat.
15. Stamens are SC-36 Irish Luck and the small dots of color near the center are SC-81 Cinnamon Stix.
16. Using a CB-110 #10/0 Liner, outline and vein fine lines around the flowers and leaves with SC-15 Tuxedo.
17. For all the pieces: Place some SC-15 Tuxedo on a palette or tile sprinkle with AC-310 Silkscreen Medium. Using a palette knife mix to the consistency of thick peanut butter otherwise it will bleed. If the mix is to thin add more AC-310 Silkscreen Medium or if to thick add more SC-15 Tuxedo to thin.
18. Use the small stripe from the silkscreen stripe to stripe the edges around the plate.
19. Using a CB-604 #4 Soft Fan, apply 2 coats of S-2101 Crystal Clear Brushing or dip in Clear Glaze of choice. Allow to dry.
20. Stilt and fire to shelf cone 06/05.
21. Assemble: Lay pieces front side down, there is a bead separating them, the bead is not necessary, cut three pieces of jute long enough to connect the three pieces and trail off the ends. Mix up 5-minuet epoxy then spread a generous amount in the recess under the crust. Lay the jute into the wet epoxy, add the beads if desired, and let it cure for 24 hours before hanging, or as the directions state.
