Instructions

  1. Begin with properly fired shelf cone 04 bisque.  Moisten a clean sponge and wipe bisque to remove any dust.
  2. Using a CB-604 #4 Soft Fan, apply 3 coats of FN-027 Glade Green to the face of the bottle cap.  Allow to dry.
  3. With a pencil and AC-230 Clay Carbon Paper transfer the pattern; there is a little bit on the top and bottom of the bottle cap where you will need to extend the lines so the design covers the entire bottle cap.
  4. Using a combination of the CB-106 #6 Script Liner and the CB-202 #2 Detail Liner fill in the design with 2 coats of each color. Apply SC-8 Just Froggy for the green, SC-46 Rawhide to the sandpits, SC-76 Cara-bein Blue to the water, and SC-43 Lettuce Alone to the tee box.
  5. Using a CB-106 #6 Script Liner, apply 2 coats of SC-81 Cinnamon Stix to the flag.
  6. Using a CB-202 #2 Detail Liner, apple 2 coats of SC-15 Tuxedo to the flagpole and the writing on the flag. You may want to use clay carbon paper the letters on once the flag is filled in or even freehand them if you’re comfortable doing so.
  7. Using a CB-604 #4 Soft Fan, apply 3 coats of FN-029 Rich Chocolate around the outside of the bottle cap.
  8. Let dry completely.
  9. Stilt and fire to shelf cone 06/05.
