Instructions

  1. Begin with properly fired shelf cone 04 bisque.  Moisten a clean sponge and wipe bisque to remove any dust.
  2. Cut out the moose pattern. Position the pattern on the coaster. With a pencil, trace around the outside edge of the patter.
  3. Using a CB-106 #6 Script Liner, apply 3 coats of SC-41 Brown Cow to the moose.
  4. Using a CB-106 #6 Script Liner, apply 3 coats of SC-37 Ivory Tower to the antlers of the moose.  Allow to dry.
  5. Using a CB-106 #6 Script Liner, apply a wash over the background, of SC-31 The Blues, 2 coats. Allow to dry.
  6. Shade around the moose with SC-58 501Blues.
  7. Scratch out the eye’s, apply SC-16 Cotton Tail, then dot with SC-15 Tuxedo, use SC-15 Tuxedo for the nose and a thin accent around the moose.
  8. Using the AC-213 Sponge on a Stick load the sponge with SC-34 Down To Earth. Tap the SC-34 Down To Earth onto the ST-343 Deco Circles Stamp then press the stamp gently onto the Moose body.  Use only small sections of the stamp. Block the background with some paper  Allow to dry.
  9. Using the AC-213 Sponge on a Stick load the sponge with SC-12 Moody Blue. Tap the SC-12 Moody Blue onto the ST-343 Deco Circles Stamp then press the stamp gently onto the background.  Use only small sections of the stamp. Block the moose with some paper  Allow to dry.
  10. Stilt and fire to shelf cone 06/05.
  11. Attach the cork back to the coaster.
