Instructions


  1. Begin with properly fired shelf cone 04 bisque.  Moisten a clean sponge and wipe bisque to remove any dust.
  2. Using a CB-604 #4 Soft Fan, apply 1 coat of SC-28 Blue Isle to the wings of the pig. Allow to dry.
  3. With a moist sponge , wipe back leaving the color in the crevices of the wing to antique the wings.
  4. Using a CB-604 #4 Soft Fan, apply 4 coats of SC-95 Pinkie Swear to the entire pig avoiding the wings and eyes
  5. Using a CB-106 #6 Script Liner apply 1 coat of SC-16 Cotton Tail to the eye of the pig.
  6. Using a CB-110 #10/0 Liner, apply 2 coats of SC-11 Blue Yonder to make the iris of the pigs eye and use SC-15 Tuxedo to make the pupil and outline the eye.Allow to dry.
  7. With a pencil and AC-230 Clay Carbon Transfer Paper to apply the flower pattern. Also sketch in some leaves (refer to photo).
  8. Use the SG-402 White Designer Liner to outline and detail the flowers and the leaves. Once applied let them dry COMPLETLEY or they will smear.
  9. Using a CB-604 #4 Soft Fan, apply 1 coat of S-2101 Crystal Clear Brushing or clear glaze of choice to the entire pig.  Allow to dry.
  10. Stilt and fire to shelf cone 06/05.
