Instructions

  1. Begin with properly fired shelf cone 04 bisque.  Moisten a clean sponge and wipe bisque to remove any dust.
  2. Using a CB-604 #4 Soft Fan, apply 3 coats of FN-020 Medium Green to the Gecko. Avoid painting the eyes. Allow to dry.
  3. With a damp sponge, wipe the FN-020 Medium Green off the feet leaving the color in the deep crevices.
  4. Using a CB-602 #2 Soft Fan, apply 3 coats of SC-50 Orange Ya Happy to the feet area.
  5. Using a CB-202 #2 Detail Liner, apply 3 coats of SC-6 Sunkissed to the eye area. Then apply 1 coat of SC-15 Tuxedo to the pupil and add a dot of SC-16 Cotton Tail for a highlight.
  6. Dampen the Green area of the Gecko with some water using a CB-604 #4 Soft Fan to add moisture back to the Green glaze.
  7. Using a CB-604 #4 Soft Fan, apply 1 coat of SG-402 White Cobblestone to the green area, except under the chin.  When the shine of the glaze is gone add a second coat of the SG-402 White Cobblestone.
  8. When the shine has gong from the second coat of the SG-402 White Cobblestone, apply 1 coat of FN-224 Key Lime. Allow to dry.
  9. Stilt and fire to shelf cone 06/5.
