Instructions

  1. Begin with properly fired shelf cone 04 bisque. Moisten a clean sponge and wipe bisque to remove any dust.
  2. Using a CB-604 #4 Soft Fan, apply 3 coats of FN-012 Lavender to the inside and outside of the cup and the back of the saucer.
  3. Punch out 6 -7 paper flowers from a flower paper punch. This paper punch punches out the petals in the negative space. Trim around the flower petals leaving an 1/8" border.
  4. Dip the paper flower in water and press in place over the FN-012 Lavender glaze.
  5. Using a CB-106 #6 Script Liner, apply 1 coat of SC-11 Blue Yonder to the petals of the flowers, and SC-78 Lime-Light to the centers.
  6. Apply 2 coats of SC-55 Yella Bout It to the background of the flowers on the cup using both the CB-106 #6 Script Liner and the CB-604 #4 Soft Fan when applicable.
  7. Mix a little SC-55 Yella Bout It with SC-34 Down to earth to lighten the color.
  8. Using the AC-213 Sponge on a Stick load the sponge with SC-55 Yella Bout It and SC-34 Down to Earth mix. Tap off excess color onto a paper towel then tap onto small sections of the ST-368 Ornate Border Stamp. Press the stamp gently onto the Yellow area of the cup. Continue stamping around the piece. Allow to dry.
  9. Apply 2 coats of the FN-012 Lavender to the top of the saucer. Apply a third coat of FN-012 Lavender and lay the netting type lace in the third wet coat of Lavender. Brush on an additional coat of FN-012 Lavender over the netting.
  10. Apply 2 coats of SC-55 Yella Bout It. Remove the netting when the last coat loses its shine.
  11. Stilt and fire to shelf cone 06.
