Instructions

1. Begin with properly fired shelf cone 04 bisque. Moisten a clean sponge and wipe bisque to remove any dust.
2. Using CB-604 #4 Soft Fan, apply 3 coats of SC-97 Cant-elope to the back, sides, neck and bottom of MB-1391 Flat Bottle. Allow glaze to dry completely between coats. 
3. Using AC-230 Clay Carbon Paper, trace and transfer the pattern onto the front of MB-1391 Flat Bottle with a pencil.
4. Using CB-404 #4 Pointed Round, apply 3 coats of SG-96 Aqu-ward to fill in the owl's body. Allow glaze to dry completely between coats. 
5. Using CB-404 #4 Pointed Round, apply 1 coat of SC-33 Fruit of the Vine to the outer edge of the owl's body and eyes. Be sure to the wings remain SC-96 Aqu-ward.
6. Using CB-404 #4 Pointed Round, apply 2 coats of SC-15 Tuxedo to fill in the eyes of the owl. Allow glaze to dry completely between coats.
7. Using CB-404 #4 Pointed Round, apply 2 coats of SC-97 Cant-elope to fill in the nose of the owl. Allow glaze to dry completely between coats.
8. Using CB-404 #4 Pointed Round, fully load with SC-33 Fruit of the Vine and apply 1 coat to the outside of the circles on the face and sides of MB-1391 Medium Flat Bottle.
9. Using CB-404 #4 Pointed Round, fully load with SC-97 Cant-elope and apply 3 coats to the inside of the circles on the face of MB-1391 Medium Flat Bottle.
10. Using CB-604 #4 Soft Fan, apply 2 coats of SC-33 Fruit of the Vine on the inside and top of the rim.
11. Using SG-401 Black, outline the body of the owl and add dots to the nose. Allow to dry.
12. Using SG-410 Bright Blue, apply accent dots to the body, head and wings of the owl. Allow to dry.
13. Using SG-402 White, apply dots to the eyes of the owl. Allow to dry.
14. Using CB-604 #4 Soft Fan, apply 2 coats of S-2101 Crystal Clear to the front of MB-1391 Medium Flat Bottle. Allow glaze to dry completely between coats.
15. Stilt and fire to shelf cone 06/05.
