Instructions

  1. Begin with properly fired shelf cone 04 bisque. Moisten a clean sponge and wipe bisque to remove any dust.
  2. Place some FN-001 White into a small cup and add a little bit of water to slightly dilute it. It should be the consistency of a coffee cream. Pour this into the pot and roll around to completely coat the interior of the pot. Drain out the excess glaze and keep pot inverted until it has lost its shine. Wipe off any glaze from the outside using a damp sponge. Allow to dry.
  3. Using a CB-604 #4 Soft Fan, apply 2 coats of FN-001 on the outside of the pot. Allow to dry.
  4. Cut out the flower and leaf pattern. You will need 5 of them. Also cut out the center of the flower.
  5. Wet the flower cut out and place on the pot. Press with a paper towel to absorb any excess water.
  6. Using a CB-604 #4 Soft Fan, apply 2-3 coats of SC-78 Lime-Light on the outside of the pot. Avoid getting any SC-78 Lime-Light in the flower center.
  7. Using a CB-106 #6 Script Liner, apply SC-29 Blue Grass on the back of the cut out paper leaf and stem. Position and place on pot. Wait a few seconds then press with a paper towel to absorb any excess color. Clean up any SC-29 Blue Grass around the leaves and stems then touch up any of the SC-78 Lime-Light.
  8. Using the AC-213 Sponge on a Stick load the sponge with SC-29 Blue Grass. Tap the SC-29 Blue Grass on to the ST-109 Butterfly Garden Stamp then press the stamp gently onto the piece. Continue stamping around the piece.
  9. Using a CB-106 #6 Script Liner, apply SC-4 Salsa on the flower centers.
  10. Remove all the paper cut out flowers, leaves and stems.
  11. Allow to dry.
  12. Stilt and fire to shelf cone 06.
