Instructions

1. Using the AB-904 #4 Stiff Fan Brush, apply one coat of SS-335 Rich Blue to the entire canvas. Let dry.

2. Using the AB-904 Stiff Fan Brush, apply two coats of MM-105 Gold Metallic to the opposite side of the paper that the bird cage pattern is on. Set aside and let dry.

3. Load a section of the synthetic sponge with MM-103 Dark Bronze Metallic. Sponge around the edge of the canvas in an up and down pouncing motion.

4. Load a section of the synthetic sponge with MM-103 Dark Bronze Metallic. Place the SL-435 Curliques Stencil onto the canvas. Using an up and down pouncing motion, sponge through the stencil. Repeat several times in random areas on the canvas.

5. Load a section of the synthetic sponge with MM-102 Copper Metallic. Place the SL-435 Curliques Stencil onto the canvas. Using an up and down pouncing motion, sponge through the stencil. Repeat several times in random areas on the canvas.

6. Attach a MM-600 Spritzer Cap to the MM-202 Green Patina and randomly spray the canvas. Let dry.The Green Patina will begin working a few minutes after it has been sprayed onto the Magic Metallics. Give 24 hours to see full effects.

7. Load a section of the synthetic sponge with SS-288 Bright Green. Place the SL-436 Fern Leaves Stencil onto the canvas. Using an up and down pouncing motion, sponge through the stencil. Alternate loading the sponge with SS-376 Lime Burst. Repeat several times in random areas on the canvas.

8. Using scissors or an X-acto knife, cut out the bird cage from the gold paper.

9. Using scissors, cut out two birds from collage paper.

10. Using the AB-904 #4 Stiff Fan Brush loaded with Mod Podge, adhere the two birds to the canvas. Apply one coat of Mod Podge under the birds, stick the birds onto the glue, then apply another coat of Mod Podge over the birds.

11. Using the AB-904 #4 Stiff Fan Brush loaded with Mod Podge, adhere the cage to the canvas over the birds. Apply one coat of Mod Podge under the cage, stick the cage onto the glue, then apply another coat of Mod Podge over the cage.

12. Using the AB-703 #3 Round Brush, outline the birds and the bars of the cage with MM-103 Dark Bronze Metallic.

13. Apply one coat of MM-502 Matte Sealer using the AB-904 Stiff Fan Brush over the whole canvas to stop the oxidation process.
