Instructions
- Begin with properly fired shelf cone 04 bisque vessels. Moisten a clean sponge and wipe bisque to remove any dust.
- Using CB-604 #4 Soft Fan, apply 3 coats of FN-004 Red on the top portion of the first vessel. Allow glaze to lose its shine between coats.
- Using CB-604 #4 Soft Fan, apply 3 coats of CG-970 Masquerade on the bottom portion (below FN-004 Red) of the first vessel. Allow glaze to lose its shine between coats. On the 3rd coat, apply a lighter application of crystals near the bottom of the vessel. This is to allow room for the crystals to move without dripping and sticking to the kiln shelf.
- Using CB-604 #4 Soft Fan, apply 3 coats of FN-020 Medium Green on the top portion of the second vessel. Allow glaze to lose its shine between coats.
- Using CB-604 #4 Soft Fan, apply 3 coats of CH-756 Firecracker on the bottom portion (below FN-020 Medium Green) of the second vessel. Allow glaze to lose its shine between coats. On the 3rd coat, apply a lighter application of crystals near the bottom of the vessel. This is to allow room for the crystals to move without dripping and sticking to the kiln shelf.
- Using CB-604 #4 Soft Fan, apply 3 coats of FN-003 Orange on the top portion of the third vessel. Allow glaze to lose its shine between coats.
- Using CB-604 #4 Soft Fan, apply 3 coats of CH-756 Firecracker on the bottom portion (below FN-003 Orange) of the third vessel. Allow glaze to lose its shine between coats.On the 3rd coat, apply a lighter application of crystals near the bottom of the vessel. This is to allow room for the crystals to move without dripping and sticking to the kiln shelf.
