Instructions

  1. Begin with properly fired shelf cone 04 bisque.  Moisten a clean sponge and wipe bisque to remove any dust.
  2. Using a CB-604 #4 Soft Fan, apply 2 coats of SC-77 Glo Worm to the outside of the Cup
  3. Cut about 4 strands of the eyelash yarn so it will fit around the width of the mug.
  4. Apply on another coat of the Glow Worm for each row of yarn and lay in the eyelash yarn into the wet glaze. Try to keep the fibers in a downward direction.
  5. Brush back over the yarn with SC-77 Glo Worm.
  6. Apply four rows of the yarn. Allow to dry.
  7. Using a CB-604 #4 Soft Fan, apply 2 coats of SC-11 Blue Yonder over the top and third section of the Cup. Apply SC-76 Cara-bein Blue to the second section, and the last section with SC-10 Teal Next Time.
  8. Remove the yarn as soon as the shine leaves the glaze.
  9. Using a CB-604 #4 Soft Fan, apply 3 coats of SC-77 Glo Worm to the inside of the Cup and make sure the handle has 3 coats of the SC-77 Glo Worm.  Allow to dry.
  10. Stilt and fire to shelf cone 06/05.
