Instructions
- Begin with properly fired shelf cone 04 bisque. Moisten a clean sponge and wipe bisque to remove any dust.
- Using a CB-604 #4 Soft Fan, apply 2 coats of FN-009 Black to the front and back of the square plate. Let dry completely.
- Create a design on paper, then transfer the design using AC-230 Clay Carbon Paper and your pencil.
- When applying the Underglaze colors, use messy brush strokes following the shape of the design.
- Using a CB-106 #6 Script Liner, to apply the following steps; Note: Leave a black edge around the edge of the design.
- Apply 1 coat of UG-203 Squash Yellow to the top part of the daffodil and 1 coat of UG-204 Orange to the lower petals with some UG-203 Squash Yellow highlights.
- Apply 1 coat of UG –21 Leaf Green with UG-22 Spring Green highlight.
- Apply 1 coat of UG-97 Bright Blue to the table cover area. Highlight with UG-51 China White.
- Apply 2 coat of UG-51 China White to the cups and the vase.
- Apply 1 coat of UG-94 Pansy Purple with some UG-51 highlights to the background area.
- Apply 1 coat of UG-50 Jet Black with UG-51 China White highlight for the steam coming out of the coffee cups.
- Using a CB-110 #10/0 Liner, outline with UG-50 Jet Black. Allow to dry.
- Stilt and fire to shelf cone 06.
