1. Begin with properly fired shelf cone 04 bisque.  Moisten a clean sponge and wipe bisque to remove any dust.

Pumpkin Plate

1. Using a CB-604 #4 Soft Fan, apply 3 coats of SC-75 Orange-A-Peel to the plate except the eye area.
2. Sketch on the mouth and nose of the pumpkin.
3. Using a CB-106 #6 Script Liner, apply 2-3 coats of SC-15 Tuxedo to the mouth and nose area of the pumpkin.
4. Using a CB-106 #6 Script Liner, apply 2 coats of SC-16 Cotton Tail to the eye area. Shade the eye area with thinned SC-24 Dandelion.
5. Using a CB-106 #6 Script Liner, apply 2 coats of SC-27 Sour Apple to the triangle shape iris and shade with SC-26 Green Thumb.
6. Using a CB-110 #10/0 Liner, apply SC-15 Tuxedo to the pupil of the eye and outline the eye.
7. Using a CB-604 #4 Soft Fan, apply 2-3 coats of FN-009 Black to the back of the plate. Allow to dry.
8. Stilt and fire to shelf cone 05/06.

Cat Mug

1. With a pencil and AC-230 Clay Carbon Paper, trace on the mouth of the Cat Mug.
2. Using a CB-604 #4 Soft Fan, apply 2-3 coats of FN-009 Black to the outside of the mug except the white teeth area and the eyes. Allow to dry.
3. Using a CB-110 #10/0 Liner, apply 2-3 coats of SC-16 Cotton Tail to the white teeth area and to the eyes.
4. Using a CB-110 #10/0 Liner, apply 2 coats of SC-74 Hot Tamale to the black are of the mouth (inside area).
5. With a pencil and AC-230 Clay Carbon Paper, trace on the fur, nose and whiskers.
6. Using a CB-106 #6 Script Liner and a CB-110 #10/0 Liner, apply 3 coats of SC-33 Fruit of the Vine to the fur, nose and the whiskers.
7. Using a CB-106 #6 Script Liner, apply 2 coats of SC-27 Sour Apple to the iris of the eyes. Shade with SC-26 Green Thumb.
8. Using a CB-110 #10/0 Liner, apply SC-15 Tuxedo to the pupil of the eye and outline the eye.
9. Highlight the eyes and the nose with SC-16 Cotton Tail.
10. Using a CB-604 # 4 Soft Fan, apply 2-3 coats of FN-009 Black to the inside of the mug. Allow to dry.
11. Stilt and fire to shelf cone 05/06.
