Instructions
- Begin with properly fired shelf cone 04 bisque.
- Moisten a clean sponge and wipe bisque to remove any dust.
- Draw a heart on the index card and cut it out.
- Using a CB-408 #8 Pointed Round, apply 2 coats of SS-92 Royal Fuchsia to the entire piece.
- Place the heart to the “glass” bowl area, and draw around it, repeating until the area is covered in hearts, allowing some to overlap.
- Using a CB-404 # 4Pointed Round, apply 1 to 2 coats of the following colors to the hearts as desired. SS-247 Bright Yellow, SS-141 Bright Pink, SS-368 Dusty Violet and SS-135 White Where one heart overlaps another, shade the shadow area with the CB-404 #4 Pointed Round side loaded in SS-130 Medium Gray.
- Using the CB-404 #4 Pointed Round and the CB-110 #10/0 Liner. apply 2 coats of SS-130 Medium Gray to the area where the turn knob is, and the area above the gumball door.
- Trace a heart on the gumball door, and block it in with 2 coats of SS-135 White.
- Using the CB-404 #4 Pointed Round and CB-110 #10/0 Liner, apply 2 coats of SS-81 Shimmering Silver to the knob and a thin coat (dry brush) the textured area on the area around the knob.
- Using the Black Ultra Fine Point Permanent Marker, outline the hearts.
- Using the Red Ultra Fine Point Permanent Marker, add sayings to the hearts.
- Using the CB-408 #8 Pointed Round, apply 1 coat of AC-501 Gloss Brush On Sealer to the “glass” area on the gumball machine.
- Allow to dry. DO NOT fire!
