Instructions

The concept behind this project is the key: paint your bunny so to looks like two decorated Easter Eggs. You can paint it anyway you want to; or, you can paint it like the sample. Here is how to do it if you want one that looks like the sample.
  1. Begin with properly fired shelf cone 04 bisque. Moisten a clean sponge and wip bisque to remove any dust.
  2. Look at the pattern provided and sketch on the design.
  3. Next, paint by numbers. The Stroke & Coat used in each area of the design is indicated on the pattern sheet. Apply 3 coats of each color. Using various size brushes.
  4. This project can also be simplified for young painters by using spouncers and stickers. You can cut shapes out of contact paper and have the kids apply them to the bunny before painting it. Use the darker colors in the areas around the stickers and use light colors (1 coat) in the white areas when the stickers are removed.
  5. Apply Clear Glaze. Allow to dry.
  6. Stilt and fire to shelf cone 06.
