Instructions


  1. Begin with properly fired shelf cone 04 bisque.  Moisten a clean sponge and wipe bisque to remove any dust.
  2. With a pencil and AC-230 Clay Carbon Paper, trace on the design
  3. With the AC-211 Sponge on a Stick, use SC-95 Pinkie Swear and make small dots of color close to one another to form the largest flower head, use SC-1 Pink-A-Boo for the top flower head and SC-70 Pink-A-Dot for the remainder flowers.
  4. Apply 2-3 coats of each color to create depth to the flower.
  5. Using a CB-106 #6 Script Liner, apply on SC-79 It’s Sage to the stems and the leaves, shade with SC-52 Toadily Green.
  6. Use the AC-211 Sponge on a Stick with SC-91 Seabreeze to dot the background a couple of coats.
  7. Using a CB-110 #10/0 Liner, use SC-15 Tuxedo accent the Hydrangea flower head, and vein the leaves and stems. Allow to dry.
  8. Using a CB-604 #4 Soft Fan, apply 2 coats of S-2101 Crystal Clear Brushing to the piece, or apply the clear glaze of your choice.  Allow to dry.
  9. Stilt and fire to self cone 06/05.
