Instructions

Begin with properly fired shelf cone 04 bisque. Moisten a clean sponge and wipe bisque to remove any dust.

Use sea sponge to apply two coats of SC-46 Rawhide over entire background.

Use sea sponge to apply one coat of SC-5 Tiger Tail within 2” from rim.

Use palette knife to mix thoroughly one teaspoon of SC-15 Tuxedo with one smidgen of Gum-Tex powder. Place Crow Silkscreen near center of plate. Using your index finger, evenly rub mixture through screen. Remove screen.

Use plastic cup to mix one teaspoon of water with one teaspoon of SC-15 Tuxedo. Stir with end of brush. Load CB-618 #8 Soft Fan with mixture, hold your index finger 3”-4” above plate, and tap Soft Fan against your finger to create droplets on and around the crow print.

Use a damp sponge with SC-15 Tuxedo to wipe over wings and various directions. Apply two coats.

Use a dry CB-310 #10 Flat Shader to apply two coats of SC-15 Tuxedo on rim. Lightly flick brush inwards from rim to create a feathered effect.

Apply clear glaze and fire to Cone 06.
