Instructions

  1. Begin with properly fired shelf cone 04 bisque. Moisten a clean sponge and wipe bisque to remove any dust.
  2. Cut the paper around the rabbit pattern so there is a border about ¾ inch. Then cut out the rabbit this will create a negative space. You will use the negative space of the cut out.
  3. Punch out three 1 ½” inch circles and four 1 ¾ inch circles; you will use the negative space from these punch-outs. Cut the paper around the punch so there is a border about ¾ inch.
  4. Using a CB-106 #6 Script Liner, apply 1 coat of FN-001 White to the space of the cut out papers (so it will stick). Allow to dry. Re-wet with water and stick down the paper cut outs.
  5. With a Synthetic Sponge, sponge the rabbit space with SC-41 Brown Cow, and SC-14 Java Bean, sponge 3-4 times. Allow to dry.
  6. Use the AC-213 Sponge on a Stick to apply SG-408 Orange Designer Liner to the petals, of one of the flowers of the ST-111 Four Flowers Stamp and use SG-403 Red Designer Liner to sponge to the center of the flower. Stamp one flower at a time on the rabbit; reverse the colors for one of the other flowers. Fill in the spaces of the rabbit’s body with the ST-343 Deco Circle Stamp.
  7. Stamp the rabbit again with the same stamps using SC-15 Tuxedo. Don’t stamp over the same design with the black, the red and orange stamping is background color.
  8. Remove the paper from the rabbit.
  9. For the flowers, take the AC-213 Sponge on a Stick from the SG-408 Orange Designer Liner, use with SC-75 Orange-A-Peel, press and twist the sponge for a circular shape, over the space from the circle punch out, make some centers, orange, and some with SC-74 Hot Tamale, 2-3 coats, on the third coat, pick up some of the opposite color on the sponge to press and twist the color.
  10. Remove the paper circle cut outs.
  11. Use SG-401 Black Designer Liner to make petals around the flower centers, (two rows of petals for the smaller center and three rows for the larger center) fill in the petals with SG-403 Red Designer Liner lines, leave a little space in the petals, to highlight with SG-408 Orange Designer Liner.
  12. Dot around the center with SG-401 Black Designer Liner.
  13. Add a small SG-401 Black Designer Liner line, at the edge of the petals tips. Outline around the centers with SG-401 Black Designer Liner.
  14. Outline and vein the leaves with SG-405 Green Designer Liner. Use the SG-405 Green Designer Liner to make curly que lines coming from the flower and leaves.
  15. Using a CB-106 #6 Script Liner, apply 2 puddle coats of CG-716 Pagoda Green on the leaves.
  16. Using a CB-604 #4 Soft Fan, apply 2 coats of S-2101 Crystal Clear Brushing to the front of the plate, going around the leaves and 2 coats to the back of the plate or Dip in Clear Glaze of Choice. Allow to dry.
  17. Stilt and fire to shelf cone 06/05.
