Instructions
- Begin with properly fired shelf cone 04 bisque. Moisten a clean sponge and wipe bisque to remove any dust.
- Using a Masonry Drill Bit, drill several holes in the MB-1114 Casualware Serving Bowl to create a colander.
- Using a CB-604 # 4 Soft Fan, apply 2 coats of FN-001 White to the top of the plate and the inside of the bowl. Allow to dry.
- Using the AC-213 Sponge on a Stick, apply SC-36 Irish Luck to the ST-341 Leaves Stamp, one leaf at a time. Press onto the piece where desired, leaving openings for the berries.
- Using aCB-106 # 6 Script Liner, apply 1 slightly thinned coat of SC-27 Sour Apple to the leaves.
- Using a CB-106 # 6 Script Liner, apply 1 coat of SC-13 Grapel to where the berries are to go.
- Using a CB-106 # 6 Script Liner, apply a thin wash of both SC-45 My Blue Heaven and SC-42 Butter Me Up to the background.
- Using a Pencil Eraser, load in any of the following colors, and press in the berry segments, from the outside towards the center. SC-13 Grapel, SC-82 Tuscan Red, SC-76 Cara-Bein Blue, SC-33 Fruit of the Vine or SC-71 Purple-licious.
- Using a CB-110 # 10/0 Liner, outline each berry segment with SC-15 Tuxedo.
- Using a CB-604 # 4 Soft Fan, apply 1 coat of FN-025 Raspberry Whip to the back of the plate and bowl, then 1 coat of CG-969 Floral Fantasy, then 1 coat of FN-025 Raspberry Whip. Remove any excess glaze from the holes. Allow to dry.
- Stilt and fire to shelf cone 06.
