Instructions

  1. Begin with properly fired cone 04 bisque. Moisten a sponge and wipe bisque to remove any dust.

Bird:

  1. Using the Soft Fan with CG-756 Firecracker, apply 1 coat to the bottom 2/3 of the bird. While the glaze is still wet, dip the same brush into FN-052 Tangerine and gradually blend up to the top of the bird. Do not glaze the eyes or beak. Repeat when dry.
  2. Using the Script Liner with FN-001 White, apply 3 coats to the eyes. Allow glaze to dry between coats.
  3. Using the Script Liner with FN-002 Yellow, apply 3 coats to the beak. Allow glaze to dry between coats.
  4. Using the Soft Fan with FN-018 Bright Blue, apply 3 coats to the inside of the bird. Allow glaze to dry between coats.
  5. Using the Detail Liner with SC-15 Tuxedo, outline the details.
  6. Fire to Cone 06.

Frog:

  1. Using the Soft Fan with CG-987 Tree Frog, apply 1 coat to the bottom 2/3 of the frog. While the glaze is still wet, dip the same brush into FN-037 Chartreuse and gradually blend up to the top of the frog. Do not glaze the eyes. Repeat when dry.
  2. Using the Script Liner with FN-001 White, apply 3 coats to the eyes. Allow glaze to dry between coats.
  3. Using the Soft Fan with FN-018 Bright Blue, apply 3 coats to the inside of the bird. Allow glaze to dry between coats.
  4. Using the Detail Liner with SC-15 Tuxedo, outline the details.
  5. Fire to Cone 06.

Monkey:

  1. Using the Soft Fan with CG-753 Sassy Orange, apply 1 coat to the bottom 2/3 of the monkey. While the glaze is still wet, dip the same brush into FN-002 Yellow and gradually blend up to the top of the monkey. Do not glaze the eyes, nose or muzzle. Repeat when dry.
  2. Using the Script Liner with FN-001 White, apply 3 coats to the eyes. Allow glaze to dry between coats.
  3. Using the Script Liner with FN-052 Tangerine, apply 3 coats to the nose. Allow glaze to dry between coats.
  4. Using the Script Liner with FN-013 Light Yellow, apply 3 coats to the muzzle. Allow glaze to dry between coats.
  5. Using the Soft Fan with FN-018 Bright Blue, apply 3 coats to the inside of the bird. Allow glaze to dry between coats.
  6. Using the Detail Liner with SC-15 Tuxedo, outline the details.
  7. Fire to Cone 06.
