Instructions

  1. Begin with properly fired cone 04 stoneware bisque. Moisten a sponge and wipe bisque to remove any dust.

  2. Using a fan brush, apply 2 coats of SW-304 Copper Wash in a 1” band around the rim of the plate. 

  3. Apply 3 coats of SW-121 Smoke to the entire plate, avoiding the foot. 

  4. Use a damp sponge to wipe away any glaze that may have gotten on the foot. 

  5. Fire to cone 5/6. Sample was fired to cone 6.
