Instructions

  1. Begin with properly fired shelf cone 04 bisque.  Moisten a clean sponge and wipe bisque to remove any dust.
  2. BOB CANVASES: Use the 2” mini foam roller to apply SC-35 Gray Hare to the MT-002 Wood Grain Mat then stamp onto two of the canvas ornaments.  Use SC-31 The Blues to apply a portion of the design from the ST-100 Game Board Stamp onto part of a small canvas. Use another portion of the stamp to apply SC-35 Gray Hare to another part of the canvas.
  3. Make sure that the holes are at the top so the pieces will string together properly.
  4. Pencil in the letters onto the canvases.
  5. Using a CB-106 #6 Script Liner, apply 2- 3 coats of SC-32 Bluebeard.
  6. Using a CB-110 #10/0 Liner, outline the letters with SC-15 Tuxedo.
  7. Stamp one canvas using SC-15 Tuxedo and the ST-123 Paw Prints Stamp. Incorporate some stick figures stamped around the letters using the ST-118 Stick Family Stamp.
  8. BETH CANVASES: Using SC-89 Cutie Pie Coral and the ST-111 Four Flowers Stamp or the ST-343 Deco Circles Stamp, add designs to some of the canvases. Then use the either stamp with SC-27 Sour Apple.
  9. For a different effect, using the 2” mini roller, roll some SC-11 Blue Yonder or some SC-89 Cutie Pie Coral onto a paper doily. Use the doily as a stamp on one or two of the canvases.
  10. Thin SC-11 Blue Yonder to use as a wash on one of the canvases for more color.
  11. Pencil in the letters onto the canvases.
  12. Using a CB-106 #6 Script Liner, apply 3 coats of SC-89 Cutie Pie Coral to the letters.
  13. Outline the letters with SG-403 Red Designer Liner.
  14. Dip all pieces in Clear Dipping Glaze or using a CB-604 #4 Soft Fan, apply 2 coats of S-2101 Clear Brushing Glaze to all pieces. Make sure the hanging holes are clear of glaze before firing. Allow to dry.
  15. Stilt and fire to shelf cone 06/05.
  16. Add decorative trim and wire to finished piece.
