Instructions
- Begin with properly fired shelf cone 04 bisque. Moisten a clean sponge and wipe bisque to remove any dust.
- Using a CB-406 #6 Pointed Round, apply 3 coats of SC-55 Yella About It to the sun.
- Using a CB-406 #6 Pointed Round, apply 3 coats of SC-37 Ivory Tower to the moon.
- Using a CB-202 #2 Detail liner, apply 3 coats of SC-76 Cara-bein Blue to the sky area around the sun.
- Using a CB-406 #6 Pointed Round, apply 3 coats SC-76 to the sky area around the moon and stars.
- Using a CB-406 #6 Pointed Round, apply 3 coats SC-16 Cotton Tail to the clouds and the plain area between the two sides and the stars. Shade the clouds with SC-76 Cara-bein Blue.
- Using a CB-406 #6 Pointed Round, apply a wash of SC-6 Sunkissed to the sun, then shade with SC-25 Crackerjack Brown.
- Using a CB-406 #6 Pointed Round, apply a wash of SC-51 Poo Bear to the moon, then shade with SC-25 Crackerjack brown.
- Using a CB-110 #10/0 Liner, detail the eye and mouth on the moon with SC-14 Java Bean.
- Detail the mouth of the sun with a wash of SC-15 Tuxedo.
- Using a CB-202 #3 Detail Liner and a CB-110 #10/0 Liner, paint the eyes of the sun with SC-16 Cotton Tail, the iris with SC-76 Cara-bein Blue and the pupil with SC-15 Tuxedo. Outline and add eyelashes with SC-15 Tuxedo. Allow to dry.
- Apply Clear Glaze.
- Stilt and fire to shelf cone 06.
