Instructions
- Begin with properly fired shelf cone 04 bisque. Moisten a clean sponge and wipe bisque to remove any dust.
- Using a CB-604 #4 Soft Fan, apply 3 coats of FN-001 White to the front of the plate. Apply 3 coats of FN-028 Wisteria Purple to the back and around the rim of the plate. This can be done now, or after you finish the design to speed up the drying process.
- Once the middle of the plate is dry use a sponge to liberally apply SC 28 Blue Isle to the child’s hand
- Immediately place the child’s hand in the center of the plate.
- Using a CB-110 #10/0 Liner, apply 1 coat of SC-10 Teal Next Time, SC-15 Tuxedo, SC-16 Cotton Tail,SC-24 Dandelion, SC-26 Green Thumb, SC-27 Sour Apple, SC-76 Cara-bein Blue, and SC-84 Dee John for the details on the peacock.
- Paint back and rim of the plate with FN-028 Wisteria Purple if you have not yet done so.
- Using a pencil and AC-230 Clay Carbon Paper, trace the letting around the rim of the plate
- Using a CB-110 #10/0 Liner, apply 2 coats of SC-16 Cotton Tail to the letters. Then apply 1 coat SC-9 Jaded, SC-85 Orkid, SC-89 Cutie Pie Coral, and SC-24 Dandelion to the letters, alternating different colors for different letters. Allow to dry.
