Instructions

  1. Remove dust with a damp sponge.
  2. Cut out the oval shape of the rabbit pattern and the shape of the hedge hog, cut just inside of the line of the hedge hog.

  3. Trace the shape of the cut-outs onto the paint cans with a pencil.

  4. Brush 2-3 coats of SC-16 Cotton Tail to the space with CB-604 #4 Soft Fan.

  5. Brush water over the Cotton Tail, then place the paper cut outs over the glaze, press with paper towel to get it to stick.

  6. Brush three coats of SC-97 Cant-elope to the body of the can with CB-604 #4 Soft Fan and SC-96 Awk-ward to the quart can, brush over the paper edges, after the third coat, remove the paper. Let dry.

  7. Thicken SC-15 Tuxedo with AC-310 Silkscreen Medium using a palette knife to a peanut butter consistency, with the grain side up rub the thick Tuxedo over the screen.  Use the rabbit screen for the gallon size and the hedgehog for the quart size.

  8. Pencil or trace on the pattern of the flowers and leaves.  Brush three coats of SC-16 Cotton Tail to the petals using CB-110 Liner.

  9. Brush two coats of SC-97 Cant-elope to the orange flowers and centers.

  10. Brush SC-96 Awk-ward to some of the centers on the gallon can, 2-3 coats.

  11. All the leaves are done with SG-409 Bright Green and the centers dotted with SG-410 Bright Blue, outline the leaves and flowers, and the band around the rabbit label with SC-15 Tuxedo using CB-110 Liner.

  12. Brush two thinned coats of SC-96 Awk-ward to the inside of the gallon can and SC-97 Cant-elope to the quart can, letting it pool in the top of the cans ridges, using the fan load with the inside color and brush it against the edge so some color drips down the can, control the length of the drip by inverting the piece.

  13. Clear glaze one coat, or dip.

  14. Fire to cone 05/06.

  15. Brush SS-81 Shimmering Silver to the top rim with the stain is still wet disperse with water, brush to the bottom rim and to the handle bump outs.

  16. Cut and bend a hanger to fit the cans then paint with the SS-81 Shimmering Silver.
