1. Begin with properly fired shelf cone 04 bisque.  Moisten a clean sponge and wipe bisque to remove any dust.
2. Using a CB-604 # 4 Soft fan, apply 3 coats of FN-022 Tan to the entire piece. Allow to dry.
3. Using a Watercolor Marker, sketch in the ears, bowtie, nose and eyes.
4. Using the CB-106 # 6 Script Liner, apply 2 coats of SC-14 Java Bean to the ears. Side load in SC-34 Down to Earth, and shade the edges of the ears.
5. Using a CB-106 # 6 Script Liner, apply 2 to 3 coats of SC-11 Blue Yonder to the bow tie. Add stripes to the tie with SC-71 Purple-licious.
6. Using a CB-106 # 6 Script Liner loaded in SC-34 Down to Earth; apply 2 coats to the nose.
7. Using a BT-910 Synthetic Sponge, pounce SC-17 Cheeky Pinky to the cheeks.
8. Using a CB-110 # 10/0 Liner, apply 2 coats of C-16 Cotton Tail to the eyes, then 1 coat of SC-15 Tuxedo to the iris.
9. Using a CB-110 # 10/0 Liner loaded in SC-15 Tuxedo, add the eyebrows, whiskers and outline and detail the piece. Allow to dry.
10. Stilt and fire to shelf cone 06.
