I tried to tell them but gnomebody would listen . . .

1. Begin with properly fired shelf cone 04 bisque. Moisten a clean sponge and wipe bisque to remove any dust.
2. Apply 3 coats of SC-20 Cashew Later to the flesh of each gnome (face, hands, ears).
3. Apply 2 coats of SC-16 Cotton Tail to the bride's hat and dress.
4. Apply 1 coat of SC-16 Cotton Tail to the chest of the groom down to where his coat ends. Apply 2 coats of SC-16 Cotton Tail to the ends of the groom's coat sleeves (approx. ¼"). When you coat on the black in the next step, be careful to stop at the white to allow the illusion of a dress shirt under the "tux". Likewise, you want to paint a v-neckline, leaving a white "V" under the tip of the beard.
5. Apply 2 coats of SC-15 Tuxedo to the groom's hat and suit (including his boots but excluding the belt buckle). Once the black coats have dried to the touch and before it has over hardened, use a toothpick to scrape in the lapel of the tux. Once you scrape away the collar of the coat on each side. Scrape away a line straight down from the belt buckle to the base of the jacket. Make sure to line this line up with the "V"  at the neck of the jacket.
6. Apply 3 coats of SC-35 Gray Hare to the belt buckle of the groom and paint on a tie using SC-35 Gray Hare. Do this by painting the tie coming out from under the groom's beard and taking it to the jacket "V" as if it were tucked in. You will need 3 coats to make it dark. Once the solid gray is finished, use a thin liner brush to paint thin diagonal stripes on the tie.
7. Apply a dot of SC-15 Tuxedo where the groom would wear his cuff links. Allow to dry and then place a dot of SA-003 White in the center of the black dot.
8. Apply 1 coat of SC-16 Cotton Tail in the eyes of each gnome.
9. Apply 2 coats of SC-24 Dandelion to the bride's hair.
10. Use a thin brush to paint thin arched eyebrows of SC-24 Dandelion over the bride's eyes.
11. Apply 2 coats of SC-48 Camel Back to the groom's hair.
12. Using a thin liner brush, add little whispy lines of SC-25 Crackerjack Brown over the SC-24 Dandelion on the bride's hair and eyebrows.
13. Likewise, use a thin liner brush and add SC-34 Down to Earth to the indentations in the groom's hair and eyebrows.
14. Using the same thin liner brush, apply 2 coats of SC-17 Cheeky Pinky to the bride's smile.
15. Apply a single coat of SC-53 Purple Haze "eyeshadow" to the bride. Then, put her eyeliner on with a very thin liner brush and SC-15 Tuxedo. Line both the top and bottom lid.
16. Give her two blushing cheeks using SC-22 Carrot Top and a cotton swab. One application is plenty. Do the same to the groom but dilute the glaze with a touch of water first to lighten the color.
17. Using a small round brush, make the eyes by adding a dot of SC-15 Tuxedo to the center of each eye. Once dry, use the tip of your liner brush to add a tiny dot of SC-16 Cotton Tail to each eye.
18. Using SA-003 White, add beading to the bride's gown and the tip of her hat. I did this by adding a series of dots in a zigzag like pattern at the base of the gown, around the chest of the dress, and at the tip of the hat. Any pattern would be fine.
19. Using the SA-003 White write "Bride" on the bride's hat and "Groom" on the groom's hat.
20. The basket and the groom's man purse should both be left bisque.
21. Paint the bride's fingernails with SC-71 Purple-licious.
22. Stilt and fire to shelf cone 06.
23. When the bride comes out of the kiln, snip the bouquet of tiny daisies and make a small bunch for her to carry. Use clear packing tape to tape the stems together and then tape them to her hand.
24. Bunch the tulle in a zigzag pattern at one end and then tape the bunched end to the back of the top of the bride's hat.
