Instructions
- Begin with properly fired shelf cone 04 bisque. Moisten a clean sponge and wipe bisque to remove any dust.
- Using a Soft Fan, apply 3 coats of FN-001 White to the front of the plate and the inside and outside of the mug. Allow to dry.
- For the plate, choose which leaves from the napkin that you want to tumble across the plate. Do not cut up the napkin.
- Using a Script Liner, apply a heavy coat of coat of color on the desired leaves, the green leaves with SC-27 Sour Apple and and SC-77 Glo Worm. The blue leaves are SC-91 Seabreeze with SC-10 Teal Next Time.
- Pick up the napkin and gently lay it on the plate, give it a minute before you press it down, this will give it time to absorb the color from the napkin. As you press it down, you will get some wrinkles in the napkin, which enhances the finish.
- Leave the napkin on until all the glaze from the napkin is absorbed into the base glaze on the plate. The time this will take depends on how dry the glaze underneath is and you may put it under a fan. Be patient.
- Pull off the napkin.
- Using a Liner, loosely outline and detail the stems and veins with SC-15 Tuxedo. Allow to dry.
- Using a Soft Fan, apply 3 coats of FN-001 White to the back of the plate. Allow to dry.
- Stilt and fire to shelf cone 05/06.
