Instructions
- Begin with properly fired shelf cone 04 bisque. Moisten a clean sponge and wipe bisque to remove any dust.
- With a palette knife and palette, thicken S-2101 Crystal Clear with AC-310 Silkscreen Medium to the consistency of peanut butter. Add food coloring to tint the glaze.
- With your finger, rub the thickened and tinted S-2101 Crystal Clear mixture through the DSS-0106 Winter/Holiday, grain side up, to screen the wreath, bells and ornament bulb onto the various ornaments. This process is for color placement only.
- Using CB-106 #6 Script Liner, apply 2 coats of SC-74 Hot Tamale to the ornament bulb screened image.
- Using CB-106 #6 Script Liner, apply 2 coats of SC-24 Dandelion to the cap of the ornament bulb screened image.
- Using CB-106 #6 Script Liner, apply 2 coats of the following:
- SC-24 Dandelion to the bells
- SC-11 Blue Yonder to the ribbon (of the bells screened image).
- SC-74 Hot Tamale to the berries
- SC-26 Green Thumb to the holly.
- Using CB110 #10/0 Mini Liner and/or CB-106 #6 Script Liner, apply 2 coats of the following:
- SC-92 Cafe Ole to the pine cones
- SC-74 Hot Tamale to the bow
- SC-26 Green Thumb to the pine needles and holly
- SC-27 Sour Apple to the thinner leaves
- Using AC-213 Large Sponge on a Stick, pounce SC-30 Blue Dawn on the sides of MB-1172 3" Flat Ornament around the bells. Also pounce SC-30 Blue Dawn onto the edge of MB-1171 4" Flat Ornament with the ornament bulb.
- With a palette knife and palette, mix SC-15 Tuxedo with AC-310 Silkscreen Medium to the consistency of peanut butter.
- Align the images on DSS-0106 Winter/Holiday with the previously painted images.
- With your finger, rub the thickened SC-15 Tuxedo mixture through the DSS-0106 Winter/Holiday, grain side up, to screen the wreath, bells and ornament bulb.
- Using CB-604 #4 Soft Fan, apply 2 coats of S-2101 Crystal Clear to the surface of each bisque.
- Fire using egg stilts to shelf cone 05/04.
