Instructions

  1. Cut two pieces of Black Opaque Glass to 7" x 7". Clean with glass cleaner of choice and place in kiln on Thin Fire paper.
  2. Cut 2, ⅜" x 12" strips of Yellow Opaque Glass, and 2 ⅜" x 12" strips of White Opaque glass and 2 ½" x 12" strips of Orange Opaque Glass.
  3. Line the glass on thin fire paper with the yellow on the bottom, orange in the middle and white on top in two areas. Place a 12" x 1 ¼" piece of clear glass over each set.
  4. Do a full fuse for all of the above pieces. We used this schedule to fuse these pieces. Please remember that any "generic" schedule is meant as a starting point.  Your project, your kiln and your desired results are all variables that will likely be reasons to adjust this schedule. Remember to fuse and anneal for the thickest part of the glass.

  6. Place on the black square as if candy would be in a dish.
  7. Fire to a tack fuse. Please remember that any "generic" schedule is meant as a starting point.  Your project, your kiln and your desired results are all variables that will likely be reasons to adjust this schedule.
