Instructions

  1. Roll out clay ¼" thick between wooden slats with a rolling pin.
  2. Draw a clover pattern onto the rolled out clay and cut with the Needle Tool.
  3. Slump shapes in a shallow bowl, creating a slight curvature to the piece.
  4. Allow to completely dry.
  5. Bisque fire to shelf cone 04.

Painting Directions

  1. Begin with properly fired shelf cone 04 bisque. Moisten a clean sponge and wipe bisque to remove any dust.
  2. Using a CB-604 #4 Soft Fan, apply 3 coats of FN-010 Tree Green on the back and edges. Apply 2 coats on the top of each piece.
  3. Apply 1 coat of SC-26 Green Thumb and then 1 coat of SC-27 Sour Apple on the top of the clover.
  4. When dry, with the AC-213 Sponge on a Stick, apply SC-36 Irish Luck to the ST-390 Mirrored Triangles Stamp and stamp the large clover. With the AC-213 Sponge on a Stick, apply SC-36 Irish Luck to the ST-383 Chain Link Stamp and stamp the small clover. Tip: Cut the Chain Link Stamp into the three patterns as it will be easier to use.
  5. Stilt and fire to shelf cone 06.
