Instructions
- Begin with properly fired shelf cone 04 bisque. Moisten a clean sponge and wipe bisque to remove any dust.
- With scissors, cut out the flower from the pattern along the cut line.
- Align flower cut out onto the MB-1353 8"x10" Clay Canvas. With a pencil, outline flower for later placement.
- Using CB-604 #4 Soft Fan, apply 2 coats of FN-001 White to fill in the penciled flower area. Allow to dry.
- Using CB-604 #4 Soft Fan, wet FN-001 White area with water. Align flower cut out and place on top of FN-001 White area. Place a paper towel over the paper to smooth out the flower and to remove excess water.
- Using CB-604 #4 Soft Fan, apply 3 coats of SC-89 Cutie Pie Coral to the surface, including sides, of MB-1353 8"x10" Clay Canvas. Allow glaze to lose its shine between coats. Allow to dry.
- Using 2" Mini Foam Roller, apply SC-87 Ruby Slippers to the MT-006 Wood Grain Mat. Press MT-006 Wood Grain Mat on top of MB-1353 8"x10" Clay Canvas. Repeat process to add design to the sides of the bisque.
- Remove paper cut out.
- Using CB-106 #6 Script Liner, apply 3 coats of SC-78 Lime Light to the center section of the flower. Allow glaze to lose its shine between coats.
- Using SG-403 Red, draw quick strokes to form thin petals all around the flower.
- Using SG-401 Black, draw small flower shapes on top of SC-78 Limelight painted area. Dot the center of the SG-401 Black drawn flowers with SG-403 Red. Allow to dry.
- Apply clear glaze of choice.
- Stilt and fire to shelf cone 06/05.
