Instructions


  1. Begin with properly fired shelf cone 04 Bisque. Moisten a clean Sponge and wipe Bisque to remove any dust.
  2. Using a #4 Soft Fan, apply 3 Coats of S-2565 Cloud White to the front of the plate and 3 Coats of S-2110 Glade Green to the back of the plate.
  3. Select various pictures in different sizes. Photo copy them in their cropped sizes.
  4. Pencil in locations of the pictures on the plate. Pencil in the borders of the photos; tape these areas offusing the 1/2" masking tape. Pencil in 1/2" circles to represent the baseballs that are used on the sides of the plate.
  5. Condition a CB-404 #4 Pointed Round with AC-525 Brush Cleaner. Apply a good coat of AC-303 Liquid Mask over the circles.
  6. Using a CB-434 3/4" Oval, apply 1 thin coat SC-26 Green Thumb and brush on over the background of the plate avoiding the masked off areas. Thin SC-8 Just Froggy and repeat to the background for a deeper color.
  7. Remove the masking tape and the AC-303 liquid mask.
  8. Brush on frames around the pictures using a CB-106 #6 Script Liner, the following colors: SC-33 Fruit of the Vine, SC-34 Down to Earth, SC-25 Crackerjack Brown and SC-75 Orange-A-Peel. Thin the colors slightly before applying 1 coat.
  9. Using a CB-110 #10/0 Liner, outline and decorate the frames with a thin line using SC-15 Tuxedo. Use the liner brush to stroke in grass with SC-8 Just Froggy and SC-15 Tuxedo.
  10. Using a CB-404 #4 Pointed Round, apply 2 Coats of SC-46 Rawhide to the Bat.
  11. Stilt and fire to shelf cone 06.
  12. Review the instructions on image transfer to create your image.
