Instructions

  1. Begin with properly fired shelf cone 04 bisque. Moisten a clean sponge and wipe bisque to remove any dust.
  2. Using a CB-604 #4 Soft Fan, apply 2 coats of FN-001 White to the front and back of the plate. Allow to dry.
  3. Cut out the paper pattern of the dress. Position the cut out pattern on the plate and trace the shape with a pencil. Remove cut out pattern.
  4. Cut out a small heart out of the scrap paper.
  5. Wet the heart and place on the left side of the traced dress.
  6. Using a CB-106 #6 Script Liner, apply 1 coat of SC-87 Ruby Slippers on the dress shape on the plate.
  7. Using a CB-604 #4 Soft Fan apply a coat of SC-87 Ruby Slippers to the back side of the dress cut out pattern and place over the painted dress on the plate. Press in place.
  8. With a damp sponge remove any of the SC-87 Ruby Slippers that seeps out from under the paper.
  9. Using a CB-604 #4 Soft Fan, apply a coat of FN-001 White around the dress. Allow to dry.
  10. Using the AC-213 Sponge on a Stick load the sponge with SC-15 Tuxedo. Tap the SC-15 Tuxedo onto the ST-114 Starry Swirls Stamp then stamp in the random fashion all around the dress pattern. Allow to dry.
  11. When dry, tap some SC-15 Tuxedo very sparingly to the outline of the dress with the AC-213 Sponge on a Sick.
  12. Remove the paper dress and heart.
  13. Using a CB-106 #6 Script Liner, apply 2-3 coats of SC-87 Ruby Slippers on the ribbon on the plate.
  14. Stilt and fire to shelf cone 05/06.
