Instructions
- Begin with properly fired shelf cone 04 bisque. Moisten a clean sponge and wipe bisque to remove any dust.
- Using a CB-604 #4 Soft Fan, apply SC-45 My Blue Heaven and SC-78 Lime Light in a patchy fashion on the box. Repeat with another coat placing the color in the same spots.
- Using a CB-106 #6 Script Liner, apply 3 coats of SC-45 My Blue Heaven to the bow.
- Punch out plenty of the bling bling shapes. Brush water on a section of the box, then place the paper cut out shape onto the damp glaze. Brush back over the paper cut out with a wet CB-312 #12 Flat Shader. This process will temporarily adhere the paper to the glaze without damaging the delicate paper shape.
- Brush over the box shape with 2-3 coats of SC-34 Down to Earth. In order to be able to locate it after glazing, mark your cut out shapes through the glaze with a scratch.
- When the last coat starts to dry pick off the paper shapes with a straight pin.
- Use a CB-202 #2 Detail Liner with SC-34 Down to Earth to decorate the bow and ribbon with small lines that look like chocolate sprinkles.
- Using a CB-604 #4 Soft Fan, apply 3 coats of FN-011 Light Blue to the inside of the box.
- Paint the shadow areas of the bow with 1 coat of SC-34 Down to Earth.
- Stilt and fire to cone 06.
