Instructions

  1. Begin with properly fired shelf cone 04 bisque.  Moisten a clean sponge and wipe bisque to remove any dust.
  2. With a pencil and AC-230 Clay Carbon Paper trace on the corn or the pineapple.
  3. Pineapple: outline the fruit with SG-408 Orange Designer Liner, fill in part of the sections with SG-407 Yellow Designer Liner.  Scribble in some lines of SG-405 Green Designer Liner next to the SG-407 Yellow Designer Liner.
  4. Outline the leaves with SG-405 Green Designer Liner, fill in with some SG-407 Yellow Designer Liner.
  5. Outline diamond shapes, then fill in with some SG-408 Orange Designer Liner on the background. Allow to dry.
  6. Using a CB-604 #4 Soft Fan, apply 2 coats of S-2101 Crystal Clear Brushing to the top of the tile.
  7. Corn Stalk: outline the kernels with SG-401 Black Designer Liner, and fill in the kernels with SG-408 Orange Designer Liner, accent the orange with SG-407 Yellow Designer Liner.
  8. Outline and shade with SG-405 Green Designer Liner, fill in with some SG-407 Yellow Designer Liner.
  9. Using a CB-604 #4 Soft Fan, apply 1 coat of CG-963 Lemon Lime to the background. Allow to dry.
  10. Using a CB-604 #4 Soft Fan, apply 2 coats of S-2101 Crystal Clear Brushing to the top of the tile.
  11. Abstract String Design: find the center of the tile; draw a circle about one inch from the edges.
  12. Starting in the center use SG-404 Blue Designer Liner to draw a line to the circle, then back to the opposite side of the circle to form a triangle. Keep up with the SG-404 Blue Designer Liner making triangles from the edge of the circle about one inch apart.
  13. Make triangles between the lines with SG-408 Orange Designer Liner.  Make lines inside of the triangles with the SG-408 Orange Designer Liner.
  14. Using a CB-106 #6 Script Liner, apply 1 coat of CG-799 Dutch Enamelware between the lines. Allow to dry.
  15. Using a CB-604 #4 Soft Fan, apply 2 coats of S-2101 Crystal Clear Brushing to the top of the tile.  Allow to dry.
  16. Stilt and fire to shelf cone 06/05.
