Instructions
- Begin with properly fired shelf cone 04 bisque. Moisten a clean sponge and wipe bisque to remove any dust.
- Using AC-230 Clay Carbon Paper and a pencil, trace on the pattern.
- Using a CB-406 # 4 Pointed Round, apply 2 coats of SC-16 Cotton Tail to the stomach, face, candy cane, hat band and pom-pom.
- Using a CB-406 # 4 Pointed Round, apply 2 to 3 coats of SC-15 Tuxedo to the outer body areas and the outer area around the face.
- Side load a CB-206 # 4 Pointed Round in SC-28 Blue Isle, and shade the SC-16 Cotton Tail areas.
- Using a CB-406 # 4 Pointed Round, apply 2 coats of SC-6 Sunkissed to the beak.
- Using a CB-110 # 10/0 Liner, apply 1 coat of SC-74 Hot Tamale to the stripes on the candy cane.
- Using a CB-110 # 10/0 Liner, apply 2 coats to SC-27 Sour Apple to the inside loop area on the bow on the candy cane, and 1 coat of SC-26 Green Thumb to the bows.
- Using the CB-110 # 10/0 Liner, apply 1 coat of CG-753 Sassy Orange to the bows, and 1 coat of CG-756 Firecracker to the stripes on the candy cane.
- Using a CB-110 # 10/0 Liner, apply 1 coat of SC-26 Green Thumb over the CG-753 Sassy Orange areas, and 1 coat of SC-74 Hot Tamale over the CG-756 Firecracker areas.
- Using a CB-406 # 4 Pointed Round, apply 2 coats of CG-969 Floral Fantasy to the gift box, scarf and fringe and hat.
- Using a CB-406 # 4 Pointed Round, apply 1 generous coat of SG-302 Snowfall to the hat band and pom-pom.
- Using a CB-406 # 4 Pointed Round, apply 1 coat of CG-798 Black Iris to the wing areas on the penguin.
- Using both a CB-604 # 4 Soft Fan and a CB-106 #6 Script Liner, apply 1 coat of CG-718 Blue Caprice to the background.
- Using a CB-604 # 4 Soft Fan and CB-106 #6 Script Liner, apply 2 coats of SC-76 Cara-bein Blue to the background.
- Using the CB-110 # 10/0 Liner loaded in SC-15 Tuxedo, outline and detail the entire piece, and add the eye.
- Using a CB-604 # 4 Soft Fan, apply 2 coats of FN-009 Black to the back of the piece. Allow to dry.
- Stilt and fire to shelf cone 06.
