Instructions
- Begin with properly fired shelf cone 6 bisque. Moisten a clean sponge and wipe bisque to remove any dust.
- Using the banding wheel to rotate the bowl, when on center, draw guidelines for a 1 inch band along the top exterior of each bowl.
- Using SG-409 Light Green, draw varying sizes of circles to fill in the 1 inch band on SB-124 Nesting Bowl Medium. To fill in any empty space within the 1 inch band, simply add dots with SG-409 Light Green.
- Using SG-410 Light Blue, draw varying sizes of circles to fill in the 1 inch band on SB-123 Nesting Bowl Large and SB-125 Nesting Bowl Small. To fill in any emptu space within the 1 inch band, simply add dots with SG-410 Light Blue.
- After allowing SG-409 Light Green and SG-410 Light Blue to dry completely, use CB-604 Soft Fan and apply SW-002 Matte Clear over the previously drawn circles on each bisque piece. Allow glaze to dry completely between coats. Apply two coats.
- Using CB-604 Soft Fan, apply SC-96 Aqu-ward along the top section of the exterior of each bowl. Allow glaze to dry completely between coats. Apply two coats.
- Using CB-604 Soft Fan, apply SW-126 Polished Pebbles to the bottom portion of the exterior of each bowl. Allow glaze to dry completely between coats. Apply two coats. Allow to dry completely.
- Using CB-604 Soft Fan, apply SW-106 Alabaster over SW-126 Polished Pebbles along the bottom, exterior portion of each bowl. Allow glaze to dry completely between coats. Apply two coats.
- With a damp BT-910 Synthetic Sponge, wipe away any excess glaze off the feet of the bowls.
- Do not stilt and be sure that the bowls are not hanging over the kiln shelf.
- Fire to shelf cone 5/6.
