Heart of Ohio Tole Chapter, Inc. (HOOT) has been active for over 40 years and is affiliated with the Society of Decorative Painters since 1976. The group encourages and educates those interested in decorative painting and uses their collective energy to support the community.
One way that HOOT promotes decorative painting is through their annual convention which is being held in August 8-13, 2016 in Columbus, Ohio. The event, which is open to the public, features instructors from all over the world as instructors while finished items are sold in the exhibit hall.
