Instructions
- Begin with properly fired shelf cone 04 bisque. Moisten a clean sponge and wipe bisque to remove any dust.
- Slightly thin FN-009 Black with water (3:1). Pour thinned SN-009 Black mixture to the inside of MB-1403 Oval Pitcher to coat interior. After fully coated, pour out excess. Remove any drips with a damp BT-910 Synthetic Sponge.
- Mix 1 tablespoon of UG-2 Sea Blue into a 4 oz. bottle of FN-301 Marshmallow White and mix well.
- Using CB-604 # 4 Soft Fan, apply 3 smooth coats of the FN-301 mixture to the exterior of MB-1403 Oval Pitcher and allow to dry.
- Using AC-230 Clay Carbon Paper, trace on the patterns with a pencil.
- Using CB-404 # 4 Pointed Round, apply 2 coats of SC-16 Cotton Tail to the snowman bodies, and to the snow banks.
- Side load in SC-9 Jaded and shade the snowmans body and snowbanks.
- Using CB-404 # 4 Pointed Round, apply 3 coats of SC-97 Cant-elope to the scarf, pom pom and hat band.
- Using CB-110 #10/0 Mini Liner, apply 2 coats of SC-9 Jaded to the hat.
- Using CB-110 #10/0 Mini Liner, apply 3 coats of SC-74 Hot Tamale to the hearts.
- Using CB-110 #10/0 Mini Liner, apply 1 heavy coat of SC-88 Tu Tu Tango to the noses.
- Using CB-110 #10/0 Mini Liner, apply 2 coats of SC-14 Java Bean to the arms and tree trunk and branches.
- Using CB-110 #10/0 Mini Liner, apply SC-26 Green Thumb and SC-52 Toad-ily Green to the scarf frindge and needles on the tree.
- Using CB-110 #10/0 Mini Liner, add the string to the hearts with SC-26 Green Thumb and fill in the holly.
- Using a brush handle, add the holly berries with SC-74 Hot Tamale.
- Using CB-110 #10/0 Mini Liner, add detail to the scarves with both SC-26 Green Thumb and SC-74 Hot Tamale.
- Outline and detail the entire piece wiht SC-15 Tuxedo.
- Stilt and fire to shelf cone 06/05.
