Instructions
- Begin with properly fired shelf cone 04 Bisque. Moisten a clean Sponge and wipe Bisque to remove any dust.
- Using a CB-604 #4 Soft Fan Brush, apply 3 even Coats of FN-004 Red to the front and back the plate. Allow to dry.
- Using a pencil and AC-230 Clay Carbon Paper, trace the design of the snowman onto the center of the plate and the holly pattern evenly spaced on the edge of the plate leaving a larger space at the bottom.
- Using a CB-404 #4 Pointed Round, apply 2 Coats of SG-302 Snowfall to the face and the shoulders of the snowman leaving a space for the eyes and nose. Allow to dry between Coats.
- Using a CB-110 #10/0 Liner, apply 2 Coats of SC-75 Orange-A-Peel to the nose.
- Using a CB-404 #4 Pointed Round, apply 2 Coats of SC-36 Irish Luck to the holly leaves, hat, bobble and scarf stripes. Allow to dry between Coats.
- Using a CB-110 #10/0 Liner, apply 1 coat of SC-15 Tuxedo as an outline around the holly leaves and all the snowman including eyes, nose, mouth and berries.
- Using a CB-110 #10/0 Liner apply 1 coat of SG-302 Snowfall with the tip of the brush to the berries as a highlight.
- Using the back end of the CB-110 #10/0 Liner dip into SG-302 Snowfall and apply evenly spaced dots between the holly leaves while gently coming down to the bottom of the plate leaving an even gap. Re-dip every time. Allow to dry.
- Stilt and fire to shelf cone 06.
